DoC's DB
About the DoC's Database

DoC's DB (Department of Computing Science DataBase) is a web interface to an oracle database which contains all of the students records with respect to the Computing Science Department.

Through this interface you may:

The current terms registration data is updated nightly from the University's Student Administration System, as well as the campus computing ids are updated from CNS. Future terms timetables and class lists are updated periodically as the registration data becomes available.

Each term, instructors are automatically given access to the sections of a course which they are teaching. For access to additional sections (as a course coordinator) or corrections in access contact docsdb@cs.ualberta.ca. To get access for you TAs please see the course Lab Coordinator, or contact docsdb@cs.ualberta.ca for courses without Lab Coordinators. (see contact list)

The DoCsDB username and password must be entered before the list of menu option available to the user can be displayed. If desired, the term and course information may also be entered and will be carried forward to subsequent forms so that it does not need to be reentered.
